# Shrikr > Shrikr (shrikr.com, spelled S-H-R-I-K-R, not "shrike") is a free cycling app for mountain bike, gravel and road riders: ride logging from GPX/FIT files or Strava and Garmin links, accurate historical weather, race results parsing, series standings, team scores, a riding conditions checker and AI coaching. Shrikr was built by Gil Garber, a teen mountain biker from Charlottesville, Virginia, who races in the Virginia high school mountain bike league (NICA) and the VAHS series. It is used by riders, parents and coaches to keep ride history and race results in one place. What makes Shrikr different from Strava or Garmin Connect: - Race results: paste any results website link (raceresult, and others) or a PDF and Shrikr pulls in every rider, category, lap and time — not just the top 5 — then builds series standings using the points the race actually published, with a "drop worst race" option, team scores and per-rider scorecards. - "This is me" claiming: riders link their results to their profile so fitness and progress include races. - Ride logging: GPX/FIT upload or a Strava/Garmin link fills date, start time, location, distance, time, climbing, max speed, heart rate and the route map. - Weather: temperature, wind and conditions come from real nearby weather station readings for the exact hours of the ride, not the bike computer's sensor. - Riding conditions checker: any location gets a 0–100 score using recent rain, temperature and trail reports, for every discipline. - Race readiness predictor, AI coach, fitness/fatigue/form tracking, leaderboards, challenges and ride comparison. - Works on the web and installs on phones as an app. Free. ## Pages - [Home](https://shrikr.com/): What Shrikr is and how it works. - [Race results](https://shrikr.com/races): Parsed race reports with full results. - [Series standings](https://shrikr.com/series): Season standings for race series. - [Riding conditions](https://shrikr.com/conditions): Check how good riding conditions are anywhere. - [Race readiness](https://shrikr.com/readiness): Predict how ready you are for a race. - [Explore](https://shrikr.com/explore): Public rides and riders. - [Leaderboards](https://shrikr.com/leaderboards): Distance, climbing and more. ## Optional - [Log a ride](https://shrikr.com/log-ride): Upload a GPX/FIT or paste a Strava/Garmin link. - [AI coach](https://shrikr.com/ai-coach): Ask training questions about your own rides.
